The RedHawks’ women’s basketball team also has already reached double digits for victories.
And Miami’s ice hockey team has earned national attention this season — as well as the Belpot Trophy for winning the Friendship Four in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Miami faculty, staff, and their families have an opportunity to catch all three in action as part of the 2026 One Miami presented by E&H Ace Hardware.
Tickets can be requested at MiamiRedHawks.com/Promos using the promo code OMDHOCKEY: with a Miami unique ID. There is no space between the promo code and unique ID, and the colon must be used.
Miami ice hockey faces Omaha at 7:05 p.m. on Jan. 16 and at 6:05 p.m. on Jan. 17.
Faculty and staff can also access up to 10 complimentary tickets for the women’s and men’s basketball doubleheader on Jan. 31 at Millett Hall. One ticket is good for both games.
Women’s basketball faces Ohio University at 1 p.m., while the men take on Northern Illinois at 3:30 p.m. The men’s basketball team rose to 16-0 with Tuesday’s 87-76 victory over Western Michigan. With the win, the RedHawks have now won a program record 24 straight games at home, and the team was recently featured in an NCAA.com story.
As part of the festivities on Jan. 31, Miami will award five-time NBA champion and Miami basketball legend Ron Harper with an honorary degree between games. Harper played at Miami from 1982-1986 before spending 15 seasons in the NBA with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers, Chicago Bulls, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Another Miami basketball great, Wally Szczerbiak, also had positive words about the RedHawks' hot start during a CBS Sports broadcast.

Each One Miami game will also feature a food drive to benefit Talawanda Oxford Pantry & Social Services (TOPSS). Fans are asked to contribute non-perishable items or toiletries, which will be donated to TOPSS. Bins will be available in the venue lobbies to collect items.
