Miami University will welcome internationally acclaimed chef and television personality Marcus Samuelsson to campus as part of the Presidential Career and Leadership Series.

A Night with Marcus Samuelsson: A Career of Chasing Flavors is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Armstrong Student Center’s Harry T. Wilks Theater. Registration is encouraged for this event, which is free and open to the public.

“We are excited for Marcus Samuelsson to share his journey with our career community,” said Jennifer Benz, Assistant Vice President of the Center for Career Exploration and Success. “Marcus has achieved tremendous success as a chef, restaurateur, author, and television personality. We can’t wait to watch him take the Harry T. Wilks Theater stage to conclude this school year’s Presidential Career and Leadership Series programming.”

The first 100 registrants will receive a free copy of Samuelsson’s book: “The Rise: Black Cooks and the Soul of American Food.” A book signing will take place during a reception in the Armstrong Student Center Atrium directly following the program.
