This minor is designed for students interested in formal preparation for coaching. The courses are sequenced to allow students to develop knowledge about the art, science, and pedagogy of coaching. The minor offers students the opportunity to obtain competencies needed to caoch at the youth, interscholastic, and intercollegiate levels of sport.
A minimum 2.0 g.p.a. is required for all courses in this minor. Courses must be taken for a grade (not credit/no-credit). Students planning to take this minor should consult with the chief departmental adviser.
