Student, faculty art exhibitions open in November

Miami art exhibitions opening this month feature student and faculty work.

Works by Joomi Chung (art) will be exhibited Nov. 16 through Dec. 2 at the Cage Gallery located in Alumni Hall. Her work ranges from traditional oil painting to mixed media drawing to digital image production. Cage Gallery is open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free.

Exhibitions at the Hiestand Galleries, School of Fine Arts, include a senior capstone exhibition Nov. 15 through 22; bachelor of fine arts exhibition Nov. 29 through Dec. 5 with photography by Dan Long, ceramics by Robby Siegel and paintings by Ben Willis; and a BFA exhibition Nov. 29 through Dec. 5 with paintings by Travis Heck.

Hiestand Galleries are open 8:30 a.m.- 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Admission is free. For more information on the Hiestand, call 9-1883. For more information on the Cage Gallery, call 9-6431.
