Writing in all classes is workshop focus |

Peter Elbow, director of the writing program at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, will conduct a workshop on “Using Writing To Solve EVERY Problem, No Matter What You Teach” 3-5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, in 180 Marcum Conference Center. In the interactive session, Elbow will discuss ways that faculty in any discipline can use writing to address pedagogical challenges and help students achieve course goals. Recipient of many awards for his scholarly and popular publications on writing, Elbow is the author of Writing with Power, Embracing Contraries and Writing without Teachers. A reception follows the workshop. |
