More than 400 employees receive flu shots

This year, 413 Miami employees received flu vaccinations through a special agreement for services with Southwest Ohio Home Health Care.

Employees paid $5 for the shot and Miami subsidized the remaining amount per employee.

According to Carol Hauser, senior director of human resources, "Studies show that the single best way to prevent the flu is by getting a vaccination each year."
