'Where in the World is Haiti?' panel

A faculty panel will present “Where in the World is Haiti?” at 4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in 212 MacMillan Hall.

Panel members include Mark Boardman, Sandy Woy-Hazelton and Avram Primack from the Institute of Environmental Sciences and William Renwick, geography. Drawing upon their research experiences in Port-au-Prince and Les Cayes, Haiti, they will discuss issues including flood vulnerability, public health, political and cultural ecology and environmental degradation.

The panel is sponsored by the Institute of Environmental Sciences and the Latin American studies program.
