Designs by Miami students included in Chicago exhibition

Work from a Miami design studio is included in an exhibition titled “Chicago Architecture: Ten Visions” on display at the Art Institute of Chicago now through April 1.

The student digital projects, from a studio taught in spring 2004, address the topic “Future Learning Environments.” John Weigand (architecture and interior design) taught the course with David Matthews of Ohio University (Miami MArch '91) and his students, working with professional Chicago designer Eva Mattox.

The participating Miami students are interior design majors Kelly Bush, Rachel Classen, Kate D'Elia, Katie DuBois, Hannah Frederick, Christina Jones, Tana Graves, Sarah Peterson, Marta Ralston, Danielle Thomas and Laura Tacinelli; and architecture majors Bryan Galli and Chris Keener.
