Senate accepts committee recommendations

University Senate Nov. 15 approved minutes of the Oct. 18 meeting and accepted the recommendations set forth from the codification committee on changes to the Miami University Policy and Information Manual, Sections 7.4-7.11, promotion and tenure.

University Senate approved two proposals from the Liberal Education Council: 1) minors counting for thematic sequences and 2) the number of transfer courses accepted for thematic sequences.

The next meeting of University Senate will be Dec. 6 in 111 Harrison Hall.
