Roy Johnston will give a slide lecture on “Finding a Voice: Concerning Art, Artists and Conflict in Northern Ireland” at 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 4, at the Miami University Art Museum. Johnston will address questions such as how have Irish visual artists responded to the political conflict in Northern Ireland. He is an artist, native of Ireland and former chair of the department of art at Eastern Michigan University. The lecture is free and open to the public. For more information, call 9-2232. |
