Distance learning webcast

The Senate ad hoc distance learning committee will sponsor a webcast of "The Seven Principles, Assessment, and Technology: A Little History," featuring Art Chickering and Steve Ehrman, 3-4 p.m. Monday, Oct. 27, in 110 King Library.

Ehrmann started the Flashlight Program, which used the seven principles to guide the evaluation of the impact of technology on program quality. With Chickering, he wrote a widely read article, "Implementing the Seven Principles: Technology as Lever."

It is co-sponsored by the American Association for Higher Education and the TLT Group.
