Fall commencement Friday

Miami will award 871 diplomas at the fall commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, in Millett Hall.

Provost Ronald A. Crutcher will preside.

Student speaker will be Irina Dorman from the Richard T. Farmer School of Business Administration.

Svetlana Beros Rook, president of Miami’s Alumni Association, will speak briefly.

Organist Rod Nimtz, assistant executive director at Miami Middletown, will present the music.

Conferral of diplomas will include 95 associate’s, 664 bachelor’s, 103 master’s, one specialist in education and eight doctoral degrees.
