Curtis Ramsay and her husband, Jim Miles, of Boulder, Colo., recently donated more than 400 gemstones valued at approximately $110,000 to Miami. The gemstones will be incorporated into an artistic jewelry collection designed by Miami alumni to be displayed and sold at a later date to create an endowment in the School of Fine Arts. Susan Ewing (art) is coordinating creation of the jewelry. Ramsay is an attorney and 1978 Miami graduate. |
