Hefner Zoology Museum takes on new look

The Hefner Zoology Museum, directed by Don Kaufman, has reopened following an extensive 18-month renovation. Included are seven new natural history and environmental education exhibits.

The grand opening of the Hefner museum will coincide with the annual Hefner Lecture in February, given by Michael Fay. Fay, an ecologist with the Wildlife Conservation Society, conducted a "megatransect," hiking 1,200 miles across central Africa to survey the land and wildlife of the Congo River Basin.
