Still time to give to CPAC holiday project that aids foster-care children

Miami's classified personnel advisory committee (CPAC) is hoping for more contributions to the 2006 PARACHUTE project. The money will be used to purchase holiday gifts for foster-care children who might otherwise go without.

CPAC partners with local Court Appointed Special Advocates in both Preble and Butler counties to raise money for the project.

Donations will be accepted through Dec. 1.

Make a tax deductible check payable to "Parachute Project," c/o Irene Pierce, Naval Science, 67 Millett Hall, drop off your donation to Anita Sackenheim, project chair, 106 Phillips Hall, or call 9-2700.
