Commencement Friday in Millett

Miami will award 860 diplomas at the fall commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, in Millett Hall.

President James C. Garland will preside.

Student speaker will be Joseph Hill from the School of Engineering and Applied Science.

Timothy Jestel, president of Miami’s Alumni Association, will speak briefly.

Organist Rod Nimtz, assistant executive director at Miami Middletown, will present the music.

Conferral of diplomas will include 61 associate’s, 666 bachelor’s, 118 master’s and 15 doctoral degrees.
