Marianne Russ on the air at WMUB

WMUB news producer Marianne Russ returned to Oxford in late October after a fellowship to study and work in Germany.

She’s a 1998 Miami graduate and worked at WMUB "all four years.… It was the most important thing I did at Miami to prepare me for a career."

She had stints at Dayton and Cincinnati television stations then returned to WMUB where she says, "I am very lucky to be able to teach, anchor the news, report on lots of stories, produce long-form features and work with students at the station."

Russ has won three first-place Ohio Associated Press Awards and filed spots and features with Ohio Public Radio and National Public Radio.
