‘Fantastic Free Fridays’ added to MUM Artist and Lecture Series

The Miami Middletown Artist and Lecture Series has added "Fantastic Free Fridays," special morning performances featuring visiting artists and guest ensembles, to this year’s season.
The hour-long events are designed for people and groups who may not be able to attend evening or weekend performances, such as area school classes, senior groups and parents with youngsters at home.

The first presentation will be an original play by Mad River Theatre Works, "Wings of Courage," at 10 a.m., Friday, Oct. 13, in Dave Finkelman Auditorium.

The play is based on the life of Eugene Ballard, African-American adventurer and patriot.
