Nomination deadline Jan. 28

The committee on faculty research is seeking nominations for the Miami University Distinguished Scholarship Award.

Award winners receive a $1,000 grant for the pursuit of further research or creative endeavors. Nominations will be evaluated in one of two categories — those who have compiled a substantial and continuing record of research and those whose early contributions demonstrate great potential as scholars or artists.

Deadline for nominations is Friday, Jan. 28. For more information or nomination forms, contact the advancement of scholarship and teaching office, now located in Bonham House, 9-3734.
