Senate action

University Senate Nov. 15 heard a report on university and Oxford relations by William Snavely, mayor of the city of Oxford, and Kenneth Bogard, vice mayor.

In other business, Senate heard a report from Thomas A. Dutton, chair of the campus planning committee, regarding the status of a proposed gift to the university of an Indian statue and the sites recommended for displaying that gift.

Senate also passed a resolution revising Miami’s Policy and Information manual, Section 3.8, regarding procedures for handling formal complaints of discrimination.
