Smile, and the whole world smiles with you. At least, that is what organizers of the first MUSmiles campaign are hoping. Several student groups spread out on campus Wednesday, Nov. 17, to hand out buttons and cookies, start conversations and play music, all in an effort to get the Miami community smiling. The MUSmiles campaign is the result of a survey conducted last year that revealed 75 percent of Miami students think a friendly smile and greeting will improve levels of acceptance on campus. |
