Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara, president of the Republic of Gambia from 1970-1994, will speak on "Promotion of Sustainable Democracy in Africa" at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, in 101 Bachelor Hall. The lecture is sponsored by Miami’s International Studies and Black Studies programs and political science department. The Grayson Kirk Distinguished Lecture Series is named for Dr. Grayson Kirk ‘24, a pioneer in developing international relations as a field of political science. |
