Art educator to talk about career |

Foster Wygant will talk about his experiences as an art educator at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the Miami University Art Museum. Wygant was on the faculty of the University of Cincinnati from 1968 to 1987, where he held many leading roles in the art education department, including chairman and director of graduate studies. He has written two books on school art in American culture as well as articles for numerous publications. In 1995 Wygant was named a distinguished fellow by the National Art Education Association. His appearance is made possible by the John A. and Betty J. Michael Autobiographical Lecture Series in Art Education. The lecture is free and open to the public. |
