Miami students are puckering up for the second annual Kiss Off — a man-vs.-machine kissing contest to benefit the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. Twenty-five contestants will place their lips on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee starting at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at 400 E. Vine Street. The longest kiss wins a two-year lease of the vehicle. Participants do not need to be Miami students. Last year’s winner, a Bowling Green State University student, kissed for more than 48 hours. Two Miami Greek organizations, Delta Upsilon and Alpha Phi, organized the Kiss Off. Palace Chrysler Jeep of Auburn Hills, Mich., supplied the Cherokee. Those wishing to participate can enter the drawing with a $5 donation. Donations will be taken from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. through Friday, at the Shriver Center and the Hub. Twenty-five kissers will be chosen randomly Oct. 18. |
