Guest artist recitals Jan. 14, 16

Jeffrey Vickers

Saxophonist Jeffrey Vickers, with accompanist Krista Wallace-Boaz, will present a master class 5-7 p.m. and recital at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, in Souers Recital Hall, Center for Performing Arts. The Sundance Trio will perform a guest artist recital at 8:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, also in Souers Recital Hall.

Vickers is assistant professor of music at Southern Arkansas University. He received a master's degree in music at Indiana University and is completing doctoral studies there in music literature and performance, with minors in music education and jazz performance.

Sundance Trio members are Geralyn Giovannetti, oboe; Christian Smith, bassoon; and Jed Moss, piano. They are on the faculty of Brigham Young University.
