Nominations sought for Woman of Color Award

The Women of Color Celebration coordinating committee and the women's center are now accepting nominations for the 2009 Jennie Elder Suel Distinguished Woman of Color Award. Deadline to submit a nomination is Jan. 23, 2009.

The nomination form is available online here and below as a pdf file.

The Jennie Elder Suel Award will be presented at the Women of Color Celebration on March 4, 2009, in the multipurpose rooms at Shriver Center. This year's celebration, a Bicentennial Celebration event, will begin at 5 p.m. with a reception followed by dinner and the program.

Tickets will be available at the Shriver Box Office starting Feb. 2, 2009. More information about the Women of Color Celebration can be found at www.muohio.edu/womenofcolor/.
