"Cold turkey" specials offered for Smokeout

Special offers are available to employees who participate in the Great American Smokeout Thursday, Nov. 20. Smokers who pledge to quit smoking "cold turkey" or non-smokers who pledge to give up something else are encouraged to submit that pledge to Employee Health & Well-Being by Nov. 20.

Everyone who submits a pledge will be entered into a drawing for a gift card donated by Kroger. Submit pledges to healthandwellbeing@muohio.edu or call 529-3492.

"Cold turkey" specials also are offered by housing, dining and guest services to support Smokeout participants. Buffet dining halls on Nov. 20 will feature a smoked turkey wrap special and display a Great American Smokeout cake in addition to regular menus. Participating dining halls are: Alexander, Erickson, Hamilton, Harris and Martin. The cake will be displayed on Thursday and served on Friday, Nov. 21.
