Town Hall meeting introduces new telephone service

A final Town Hall meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 17, to introduce the new Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone service the university will transition to this semester. The meeting will take place from 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. in the Multipurpose Room at Shriver Center.

IT services, working with Cincinnati Bell Technology Solutions, will transition Miami's telephone service to the new VoIP service. All university telephones will be replaced as part of this project and a variety of new services and features will be available.

Information about the project's scope and timetable will be outlined and samples of the new telephones will be available. The meeting is open to all faculty, staff and students.
