Due to the massive power outage, many Oxford residents are in need of basic necessities. The municipal building and Tri Community Center will be accepting donations.
The municipal building at 101 East High Street hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The Tri Community Center at 6025 Fairfield Road hours are 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday-Friday and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday.
Items most needed include:
Formula for babies
Diapers
Non perishable items, including peanut butter, cereal, and all canned goods, specifically canned meat
Hygiene items, including toothpaste, deodorant, soap, dish detergent, shampoo and toilet paper
These items will be available to the public, including Miami employees and students in need, at:

Donated cheese and half gallons of milk will also be accepted at the Oxford Family Resource Center.
Any volunteers who can help distribute or deliver items can call 523-5859.
