Art students' work selected for international exhibition

Five artists with Miami University connections are part of "Magnitude Seven," an exhibition of 51 small works by 34 artists at the Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center through July 3.

Works featured are by Miami graduate students in fine arts Charlie Buckley, painting and Lisa M. Wilson, metals; Brent Payne, MFA'08; David Dotson, MFA '06; and Josh Willis, BFA '03. Manifest received more than 550 submissions from 254 artists representing 38 states and 13 counties for the exhibition.

Works no larger than seven inches in any dimension were requested for the exhibition. It's the fourth year for the theme, the most popular at Manifest.

The gallery is located at 2727 Woodburn Ave. in Cincinnati's East Walnut Hills neighborhood. Hours are 2-7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and noon-5 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call (513) 861-3638 or visit www.manifestgallery.org.
