Juanita M. Anderson dies April 28

Juanita M. Anderson, 81, retired Miami University employee, died Monday, April 28. As a member of the faculty testing scoring office and later the computer operations center, Anderson served at Miami for 30 years, retiring in 1992.

She was a member of the Darrtown United Methodist Church, a past Matron of Oxford Chapter #225 Order of Eastern Star, a member of Imperial Court #34 Royal Order of Amaronth in Middletown, and a member of White Shrine #13 in Dayton.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Weasley Anderson. She is survived by one son, Harold Lynn "Andy" Anderson of Oxford, one grandson, and one sister, Charlotte (William) Peters in Fremont.

Visitation will be held at Smith & Ogle Funeral Home, 5086 College Corner Pike, Oxford, from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, followed by a service. A private family internment will follow at the Darrtown Cemetery.
