Miami's department of mathematics and statistics awarded a total of $26,775 in prizes and scholarships during an awards banquet held this spring.
Students and awards include:
Albert scholarship: Kristin Anderle, Iordan Ganev, Benjamin Jarvis, Jacob Mauch, Jenna Steyer and Benjamin Walker. Koehler Prize: Stephen Bowman, Ian Callon, Brian Clark, Maxwell Forlini, Laura Graham, Mark Hutchinson, Benjamin Jarvis, Amanda Kaylor, Ryan Kelly, Jacob Mauch, Michael McAllister, Nathan Moses, Jessica Nusbaum, Cory Sellers and Jenna Steyer.
Faculty Prize: Dmitriy Brezhnev, Lisa Espig, Iordan Ganev and John Lewis. Christofferson Prize: Brad Gaertner and Joan Sanders. Pi Mu Epsilon Prize: Iordan Ganev and Jun Wang.
