Freshman student dies April 18

Miami Hamilton first-year student Evan Tiernan, 19, a Badin High graduate, died April 18.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 22, at Avance Funeral Home, 4976 Winton Road, Fairfield.

On the Hamilton campus, a grief support group is scheduled for 1:30-3 p.m. Friday, April 25, in the student services conference room, 103 Rentschler Hall. One-on-one counseling is available as well.

If needed, students in Oxford may contact the student counseling service at 529-4634. Middletown campus students may contact the student services office in 1 Johnston Hall at 727-3440.
