Miami welcomes fall 2008 accepted students

Miami welcomes first-year students accepted for fall 2008 during two special events this spring. "Destination Miami" and "Discover Miami" showcase the best of what Miami offers.

"These are important campus visits for these students," Jen Poletti (admission) said. "They could be choosing from among several schools and it means a lot when our staff, faculty and students give that extra effort. A friendly smile or warm greeting might end up being the deciding factor in which college these students choose to attend."

"Destination Miami" will be held March 10, 28 and 31.

"Discover Miami" will be held March 14 and 24; April 4 and 11.
