Parking advisory regarding snow in Oxford

Parking on snow routes in Oxford is prohibited when snow and/or ice accumulation is 3 inches or more or if a snow emergency has been declared by the city of Oxford. Check www.cityofoxford.org for snow emergency information.

Snow routes are designated by a red, blue and white sign. A list of all designated snow routes is available at www.cityofoxford.org. Click the snow route sign on the right side of the Web page for information.

Vehicles parked on snow routes during a snow emergency are subject to citations and towing. Officials advise to prepare your parking plan now for snow.

If necessary, the university will post weather-related information on its home page, www.muohio.edu, on a weather hotline, 529-9000, and via area radio and TV stations.
