Miami Environmental Workshop "Outstanding"01/28/1998 |

OXFORD, Ohio -- The 1996 summer workshop, "Advanced Environmental Education through Inquiry," developed and directed at Miami University, was deemed one of 14 "outstanding" projects by a panel of the Environmental Education Council of Ohio. Don Kaufman, professor of zoology, and Cecilia Franz and Mike Wright, project co-directors, involved 31 elementary teachers in their field-oriented workshop. The 14 "outstanding" projects were judged out of a field of 46 workshops presented from 1995-1997. |
