Miami Commencement Dec. 17

Miami University will award 863 diplomas at the fall commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, in Millett Hall.

Miami President James C. Garland will preside.

The student speaker will be Victoria Dell Burton from the Miami Middletown campus.

Mark Stauffer, president of Miami’s Alumni Association, will speak briefly. Organist Roderick E. Nimtz, assistant to the executive director at Miami Middletown, will present the music.

Conferral of diplomas will include 48 associate’s, 727 bachelor’s, 79 master’s and nine doctorates.
