OXFORD, Ohio-- Miami University is ranked in the top 10 in a U.S. News &

World Report ranking of the nation's most efficient universities.

This year, for the third time, the magazine is ranking national universities

and liberal arts colleges that offer the greatest efficiency and best value.

Miami has been in the top 10 all three years.

The magazine looks at academic quality and educational program expenditures

per student to determine the ranking.

Earlier this month, U.S. News called Miami a "best college value." Money

magazine ranked Miami 38th best higher educational value in August.
