OUTSTANDING TEACHER AWARDS

OXFORD, Ohio -- The Miami University Associated Student Government

has given its annual Outstanding Teacher Awards to Ryan Barilleaux (political

science) and Andrew Cayton (history).

The award recognizes the professors' "cultivation of a love of learning

among their students, their dedication, their ability to stimulate students to

think deeply and the general impact they have had on students' undergraduate

education."

The award is given annually to two faculty members on behalf of the senior

class by ASG. The professors are selected from nominees submitted by

graduating seniors.
