Miami Grad Named Chrysler President12/12/1997 |

OXFORD, Ohio -- Thomas T. Stallkamp, who today was named president of Chrysler Corp., is the latest Miami University graduate named to head a major corporation.
Stallkamp, who majored in management, earned his undergraduate degree from Miami in 1968 and went on to obtain an MBA in 1972.
He is a past member of the Richard T. Farmer School of Business Administration's Business Advisory Council, has served as an executive-in-residence in the business school and is a member of the Miami University Foundation's board of trustees.
In October, C. Michael Armstrong, a 1961 Miami graduate, was named chief executive of AT&T.
Miami has more than 2,000 alumni who are presidents, CEOs or owners of companies.
