Works by Chopin featured in "The Piano In-Depth" March 18

Pianist Bruce Murray, professor and chair of the department of music at Miami, will present the third recital in "The Piano In-Depth" series at 8 p.m. Monday, March 18, in Souers Recital Hall. His program will feature works by Chopin.

The final recital of “The Piano In-Depth” series will be at 8 p.m. Monday, April 15, featuring works by Liszt.

Murray joined Miami in June 2012. He previously served as dean and artistic administrator of the Brevard Music Center in Brevard, North Carolina.

During his career Murray has presented more than a thousand concerts throughout the world, and he has been noted particularly for his performances of J.S. Bach.
