Log in services to be updated March 11

IT services will convert most major pieces of Miami University's single sign on infrastructure to use the new domain, MiamiOH.edu, by default.

The conversion will occur Monday, March 11, and includes:

  • CAS (Central Authentication Service)
  • WAS (Web Authentication Services)
  • myMiami
  • Niihka
  • BannerWeb

Accessing these services using muohio.edu will result in a redirect to MiamiOH.edu.

IT is moving these systems together due to interdependencies between them. There are other systems that participate in single sign on, or which interact with these systems directly. It is possible that some systems may experience service disruptions as IT isolates and correct problems resulting from this move.
