Comedian W. Kamau Bell will be the keynote speaker for the 29th town meeting of Racial Legacies & Learning: How to Talk About Race Wednesday, Feb. 27, at noon in the Miriam G. Knoll Community Center at Miami University Middletown and at 7 p.m. in the Harry T. Wilks Conference Center at Miami University Hamilton. Bell is the star of “Totally Biased with W. Kamau Bell,” which dissects topical issues of race, sex, politics, class and culture. His program is titled “The W. Kamau Bell Curve: Ending Racism In About An Hour.” There will also be a vocal performance by “The Son’s of Israel” at the Hamilton campus. Racial Legacies & Learning town meetings are an attempt to create dialogue that will improve and enhance race relations in American society. The events are free and open to the public. |
