Miami represents Ohio in Presidential Inaugural Parade

Miami University's marching band represented Ohio in the 57th Presidential Inaugural Parade Monday, Jan. 21.

The Presidential Inaugural Committee selected Miami in December among the first wave of participants (see related story online). More than 2,800 organizations applied. Stephen Lytle, Miami athletic band director, and band members submitted the entry in November and were thrilled to learn they were selected.

Miami’s marching band also performed at the Ohio gala event Saturday night at the Mayflower Hotel.
