IT support desk open during winter break

The IT support desk will be open during winter break to assist employees who may have questions regarding Miami University's Dec. 21 email switchover from Exchange to Google.

The following is a list of simple steps to take on Dec. 21 or anytime after to complete the set up of your account in Miami's new Google domain.

1) Log in to myMiami at mymiami.miamioh.edu to synch your password. (If you are already logged in, please log out first and then log in again.)

2) Click the email button at the upper left to access your Google account.

3) Your email will be ready to go. Your calendar may take several days to fully populate.

If you use a Windows computer, you can:

• Access your mail via myMiami
  
• Access your mail via Microsoft Outlook. Go to the Go Google web site for directions on synching your Outlook to Google.

• Access your mail via myMiami.
  
• Access your mail via Apple Mail and ICal. Go to the Go Google website for direction on synching your Mac Mail to Google.
