Supronas Library Fund for Baltic Studies established

In honor and memory of Ainis (Andy) Supronas, a native of Lithuania and an engineering student at Miami who died Dec. 1, the Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies, together with the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, the University Libraries and the office of the president, has created the Supronas Fund for Baltic Studies with an initial contribution of $5,000.

This fund will be used primarily to establish the “Supronas Collection of Baltic materials” in the University Libraries. Those who wish to contribute to the fund should contact the Havighurst Center.
