Sign up for WebEx training to learn more as Miami goes Google

A special WebEx training session is scheduled for 2-4 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10. To sign up, go to MiamiOh.webex.com, select Training Center, click the Upcoming tab, and click the Register link. Register anytime before 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 10.

Once registered, instructions on how to connect to the session will be sent in a confirmation email.

The following is a list of simple steps to take on Dec. 21 or anytime after the email switch from Exchange to Google. Miami's IT services will make the switch Friday, Dec. 21.

1) Log in to myMiami at mymiami.miamioh.edu to synch your password. (If you are already logged in, please log out first and then log in again.)

2) Click the email button at the upper left to access your Google account.

3) Your email will be ready to go. Your calendar may take several days to fully populate.

If you use a Windows computer, you can:

• Access your mail via myMiami
  
• Access your mail via Microsoft Outlook. Go to the Go Google web site for directions on synching your Outlook to Google.

• Access your mail via myMiami.
  
• Access your mail via Apple Mail and ICal. Go to the Go Google website for direction on synching your Mac Mail to Google.
