Glee Club, Collegiate Chorale winter concert Dec. 7

The Miami University Men’s Glee Club and the Collegiate Chorale, conducted by Jeremy Jones, will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, in Hall Auditorium.

The concert will include traditional sacred and holiday hymns and a selection of repertoire performed during the choirs’ recent performance at Carnegie Hall.

Featured selections include “Ave Maria” by Franz Biebl, performed by the Glee Club, and “The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy” arranged by Mack Wilberg. Wilberg, conductor of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, will be a guest conductor and clinician at a choral festival hosted by Miami Feb. 15-16.
