Wind Ensemble to perform Nov. 29

Miami University Wind Ensemble
The Miami University Wind Ensemble, directed by Gary Speck will perform a free concert at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, in Hall Auditorium.

The concert will feature a new piece commissioned by the ensemble, "Wind," by Chen Yi, and a world premiere of "Mare Tranquillitatis" by Roger Mare.

The ensemble will also perform "Millennium Canons" by Kevin Puts and "Arches" and "Zion" by Dan Welcher.
