Faculty and staff who are parents of high school seniors and are experiencing the college search and application process know this is an exciting year, but it can also be overwhelming at times. The office of admission encourages students to apply Early Decision to Miami for these advantages:
-Higher acceptance rate than other decision plans
-Early notification of admission decision on Dec. 15, six to 12 weeks earlier than other applicants
-Full consideration for financial aid and scholarships
The Early Decision deadline for the Oxford campus is Thursday, Nov. 15. Early Decision is a binding application option for students who are committed to enrolling at the university if admitted. Other application deadlines are Dec. 1 for Early Action (non-binding) and Feb. 1 for Regular Decision (non-binding). Students can apply online through the office of admission.
As a reminder, dependents of Miami faculty and staff may be eligible to take advantage of tuition fee waivers. For questions about Early Decision or other decision plans, contact the office of admission at admission@MiamiOH.edu or 513-529-2531.
